BLACKLYF Wins RMB Exhibitors Excellence Award for Overall Best Exhibitor

The Rotary Means Business Uganda Mega Business Expo 2026, held from April 23–25 at Speke Resort Munyonyo, stood out as one of the most vibrant showcases of business, innovation, and collaboration in the region. Organized under Rotary Means Business Uganda and aligned with the 101st Rotary District 9214 Conference and Assembly, the expo brought together over 100 exhibitors from Uganda and Tanzania, transforming the “House of Friendship” into a powerful “House of Connections.” It was a space where entrepreneurs, established businesses, and emerging innovators converged to exchange ideas, explore partnerships, and unlock new opportunities. With free entry and daily programming from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the event created an inclusive environment for engagement across industries, further amplified by the presence of the Guest of Honor Sudhir Ruparelia.

The diversity of exhibitors reflected the breadth of the region’s economic landscape. From agribusiness and food innovation to cutting-edge technology and professional services, the expo floor was a dynamic representation of growth sectors shaping the future. Companies such as Amla Biotech Ltd highlighted advancements in agribusiness and food processing, while technology-driven enterprises like Fleet Monitoring Systems Limited, Swift Assist Global Enterprises, and Goph Technologies demonstrated innovation within ICT and digital solutions. In retail and professional services, Bravo Shoes Uganda stood out for its impact on both community and industry. Beyond individual companies, sectors such as education, ICT, agro-processing, and financial services were strongly represented, reinforcing the expo’s role as a cross-industry platform for collaboration and business development.

Amid this highly competitive and diverse environment, BLACKLYF emerged as the standout exhibitor, earning the prestigious recognition of “Best Exhibitor Overall.” The award was based on a comprehensive evaluation that considered professionalism, coordination, engagement with attendees, booth setup, creativity, organization, and visual appeal. Equal weight was given to how effectively each exhibitor represented their brand within the space, while innovation remained a defining factor rewarding originality, forward-thinking ideas, and unique approaches to showcasing products.

BLACKLYF’s presence at the expo was both strategic and impactful. The brand curated an expo experience, presenting its range of audio & wearables devices in a way that felt interactive and lifestyle-driven rather than purely transactional. Visitors were invited to engage directly with the products, creating a hands-on experience that bridged the gap between technology and everyday use. The timing of the expo also aligned with BLACKLYF’s new product lineup, allowing the brand to introduce fresh innovations to a live audience in a setting designed for discovery and interaction.

What ultimately set BLACKLYF apart was its ability to deliver a complete, well-rounded experience. The booth was not only visually compelling but also thoughtfully organized, ensuring seamless interaction and strong engagement with attendees. The team demonstrated a high level of professionalism and coordination, while the brand’s storytelling approach transformed the space into more than just a display but an experience. Innovation was evident in how BLACKLYF presented its products, using creativity and forward-thinking execution to stand out in a crowded exhibition hall.

The recognition of BLACKLYF as “Best Exhibitor Overall” is a reflection of excellence across every touchpoint. In an expo defined by diversity, competition, and innovation, the brand did more than participate, it set the standard. This achievement reinforces BLACKLYF’s position as a leading homegrown technology brand, committed to delivering not just products, but experiences that connect with people. It also underscores the growing influence of Ugandan businesses on regional platforms, where creativity, strategy, and execution continue to define success.
